The company was founded in 1881 and has been a supplier to military customers for more 125 years. Today, Capewell is a recognized designer and manufacturer of specialized cargo handling equipment, parachute safety equipment, and precision aerial delivery systems to the U.S. military and to customers around the world.  

Capewell designs and manufactures Aerial Delivery equipment for C-130, C-5, C-17, C-27J and C-160 aircraft including air drop platforms, containers and cargo handling equipment used in military and humanitarian operations.

U.S. and foreign militaries utilize Capewell Life Support products on a variety of U.S. aircraft including: F-16, F-22, C-5, JSF, B1, B2, JPATS, as well as on many foreign aircraft.

Capewell is the exclusive international distributor of the Joint Precision Airdrop System (JPADS-MP) used by the U.S. Air Force as its only airdrop mission planning computer for precision high altitude aerial delivery.

The newest addition to Capewell's family of products is the Tactical Aerial Delivery System (TADS).  TADS provide a user-friendly solution to deliver a wide variety of small motorized vehicles and cargo to remote locations.
