> Extraction Force Transfer Coupling (EFTC)
The Extraction Force Transfer Coupling (EFTC) Assembly is designed to transfer the pull force of the extraction parachute from platform extraction to deployment of the main cargo parachute.
The Extraction Force Transfer Actuator (EFTA) is mounted in the Inside and Outside Bracket Assembly attached to the left side of the platform.
The EFTA is connected to the EFTC Latch Assembly via a control cable. Activation of the cable operates the Latch Assembly, releasing the Link Assembly, initiating force transfer.
