> M1 / M2 Aerial Cargo Parachute Release

Capewell's parachute release assemblies separate parachutes from loads after touchdown. All releases operate on a tilt-action principle: as the load touches down, the parachutes fall to the side, initiating the release. This motion causes toggle parts within the release assemblies to release the parachutes, preventing loads from overturning or dragging.
Each release is also equipped with a timer assembly and trigger mechanism to prevent premature separation. The timer begins operation when the load is extracted from the aircraft.
